AIMS Intervention & Dropout Prevention Director

Director is responsible for serving high school students in various support roles including but not limited to: Dropout prevention, curricular counseling, credit recovery, career awareness and college preparation. This program is funded with a state grant. Continuation of the program and position is contingent on securing appropriate funding on a yearly basis. Current funding ends 6/30/09 and is eligible for renewal. The director is responsible for the fiscal management of the grant and for all necessary reporting deadlines and applications. The director is housed at KHS and is part of the counseling team. A college degree is preferred with the ability to speak Spanish. Grant management and counseling experience is also valuable to this position. The successful candidate will be a good communicator and a self-starter. Hours vary daily and some evenings and weekends are necessary to run the program.

12-month position, 8 hours per day. Benefits according to Board policy. Wage DOQ and network experience. Manage all network operations and field support activities. Applicant needs to have experience with Windows 2003/Windows Exchange server environment, CISCO router, switch, and firewall, cache engine programming. Applicant needs to be familiar with all aspects of computer PC hardware and configuration under the Windows XP environment, network architecture, design, maintenance and repair when needed, security measures including firewalls, anti-virus and web content filtering. Experience with VOIP and network based security systems a plus. Must be willing to work extended hours when necessary. Min 4 year college degree in CIS or technical area required. 5 year minimum network administration experience required
