Dear Parents and Friends,

Welcome to Manzanita Elementary School! I am excited to have you as part of our community. It is my pleasure to be back in the school I called home for 12 years. It is my hope that you will join us in creating a partnership to complete your child's learning circle. Parents are very important! They are the first and most frequent teacher. As teachers we simply continue to do the job at school, that you start at home. I would like you, as parents, to keep an open line of communication with us here, so that we might assist you in any way we can. The teachers and staff at Manzanita Elementary School are always willing to help. I want you to feel comfortable enough to contact us on any matter that concerns you. I am interested in your input and feedback. If we work together we can make the time you are with us a positive and pleasant experience.

At our school you will find teachers dedicated to helping students realize academic, behavioral, and social success. Our instructional programs are designed to aid each student in achieving success and their personal best. Each grade level's curriculum is based on the Arizona State Standards which are implemented through the curricular choices set by our school board. As professional educators, we know your child's success is based upon strong instructional practices in the classroom and a strong partnership with parents reinforcing and encouraging academic achievement.
