Welcome to Mt. Tipton, the home of the Panthers! We are a small, pre-k through 12th grade school, located approximately thirty-five miles north of Kingman, Arizona. We are proud to be a part of the Kingman Unified School District, and are extremely proud of our students and faculty. Our school is small, and because of this, we are able to focus on our community, building a sense of respect and responsibility throughout.
Mt. Tipton became a Performing School under Arizona Learns during the 2008-2009 school year. We are proud of all the hard work our staff, students and parents did to assist us in becoming a Performing School. We can achieve anything when we all work together!
We are a Tribes school, meaning that staff and students agree to adhere to: attentive listening; appreciation/no put downs; mutual respect and the right to pass or participate. We have a strong learning community, and a faculty who go above and beyond to reach our students. We are excited to move forward and incorporate new technology and differentiated instruction techniques into the classrooms. We believe that by doing so, we will continue to meet our mission statement to: “Prepare students with lifelong skills to live and learn in a changing world and to encourage students to reach their highest potential as productive members of society.”
We look forward to building our ties to the larger community and in continuing to grow as a part of that community!
