Welcome to the Kingman Unified School District #20 Purchasing Department.
Vendors interested in conducting business with KUSD #20 are required to complete a Vendor Registration Form. This form must be on file in our department before invitations will be extended to take part in any of our solicitations.
Any changes in company name, address, telephone, fax number, etc. to your company should be forwarded to our department. Vendors not responding to two of our solicitations will be purged from our list of bidders for those items to which they did not respond.
We adhere to the Uniform System for Financial Records threshold guidelines as follows:
- Purchases up to $5,000 - formal quotations are not required
- Purchases from $5,000 to under $15,000 - must seek verbal quotes from three or more vendors; written quotes are acceptable
- Purchases from $15,000 up to the bid threshold - must seek written quotes from three vendors; quotes must be written on the vendors' documents (e-mails noting vendor name, address and contact information are acceptable)
- Purchases at or above the bid threshold (currently $33,689.00) - require formal competitive sealed bids or proposals and are not covered by the USFR
